Recommended use Designed for leveling horizontal concrete and cement-sand floors to be under ceramic tiles, linoleum, carpet, polyvinyl chloride cover, laminated plastic, etc. The mixture is used to create a flat and smooth surface with low mechanical loading and free of humidity, e.g. apartment houses, administrative and office buildings, public and industrial places. Surface preparation • The base must be solid, dry, clean free of oil and grease bituminous mastic, adhesives, lacquer coating and other materials which reduce the stickiness between the base and the self leveling layer. • The unsteady sections of the base should be removed using mechanical means, the whole surface thoroughly cleaned. • Broken or cracked sections must be filled with putty mixture. • After 24 hours the base should be treated by acrylic concentrate and fully dried. It is recommended to use “SHEN” acrylic concentrate. The acrylic concentrate increases the fluidity of the leveling mixture, prevents excessive drying and reduces the air quantity on the surface. • If the surface is absorbing it should be treated twice by acrylic concentrate. Making the mixture • Pour 4,2-5 l of water (from+15օС to +20օС ) per 25kg of dry mixture into a clean container. • Gradually add dry mixture and stir with a special mixer (400-800 rpm) to obtain paste-like mass without lumps. • Mix the ready mixture after 4-5 minutes once more and it is ready for use. Application • Pour out the mixture on the base then spread it on the whole surface by a spreading knife or other tool. • The works should be done at the temperature from to +15°С +30°С. • Wash the instruments in water when the work is over. • Dispose of the paper bags and mixture leftovers as prescribed by local legislation. Storage Store in undamaged packaging, on palettes, in dry premises, at temperatures under 45°С and humidity under 75%, for 12 months after the manufacturing date indicated on the package. Terms of use • Bases subject to cracking or deformation may crack after self leveling. • Water overdose and can bring to further cracking after drying. The works should be carried out by professionals. • The above mentioned performances correspond to +20օС temperature and 60% relative humidity conditions. • When working in conditions other than normal, the performances may deviate from the ones indicated in the table. • Protect the leveling surface from fast drying (wind, heating devices, solar rays). • With surfaces more than 30m² thermal joints should be installed. • The manufacturer bears no responsibility for working in violation of instructions.
